Important Features To Consider When Purchasing A New Large Charcoal Grill

Many of you reading this will have limited experience barbecuing on a charcoal grill and that's okay! I'm here to help you with all of your charcoal BBQing needs.

The majority of people perfer to grill on a gas powered grill because it is more convenient. They can fire up their grill in seconds and start cooking and there is less cleaning to do.

"Whoa -- wait a second, are you praising gas grills?" Hell no! I'm a charcoal man at heart; sure, it make take more time to start up, and it takes a little longer to get started, but all of my hard work doesn't go unnoticed. My food tastes GOOD. If I wanted to cook on a gas powered device, I'd turn on my stove!

After all, that's all gas powered grills are in my opinion -- an outdoor stove. Real men know that you need fire to barbecue. You aren't limited to just charcoal when you use large charcoal grills -- there are a wide assortment of woods that you can use to further enhance your food.

When searching for a new grill, make sure that you can adjust the height of the grill. This is a must -- you want to be able to adjust the distance between your food and the "fire".

Another feature that is useful in aiding cleanup is an ash cleaning system. Charcoal grills make a mess, that's a well known fact... but if you get a barbecue that utilyzes a well designed ash system you can keep the mess to a minimum (and sometimes nearly eliminate it), and make cleanup a breeze.

The actual grill of the barbecue can be split up into sections. My smaller one is split into 3, this allows me to quickly swap them out if I'm using one side of the BBQ.
